Measure the depth, width, and length of your area in feet. The basic formula is: depth x width x length (in feet) = cubic square feet. Then take your cubic square feet and divide by 27 to get your cubic square yards. This is the measurement we need to supply you with the right amount of materials. A load can refer to many different sizes.  Badger can deliver 1 yard up to 21 cubic yards.  If you have dimensions of the area you need to cover, that is a good start.  The dimensions will be used to calculate the actual size of the load you would need. Please see our Calculating Yardage page for more information.

Yes! Badger can replace your septic tank.  The first step with any septic issue (as well as the installation of a new septic system) is to call the South Nation Conservation Authority.  The SNCA will guide you through the steps (permits required, etc).

Badger Excavating Ltd. is a licensed septic installer.

The office is open for questions you may have by email or phone call, however, our office is not located at the Pit.  Please call first if you are interested in picking up material at the Badger Pit.  We would need to arrange to have someone meet you to load your material – usually first thing in the morning or at the end of the day. We are often out on a job because we operate as a construction company, and not a full time retail yard.
